Which AccelerateKID® Digital Arts Camp is right for you?

You aspire to be the next Mark Zuckerburg, founder of Facebook. The Digital Biz Kids entrepreneurship camp will allow you to develop a business using the AccelerateKID® lean canvas and design a professional website using Wix. The goal is to seek business opportunities, know how to to build a business model, and understand the web design process. You're an aspiring animator! The AccelerateKID® Action Animators Camps are for kids grades 5-8 and will get an introduction of the the ins and outs of stop motion animation from pre-production to post-production using Stop Motion Studio. Campers will develop their own story idea, storyboard, pitch and present and receive peer and instructional feedback. Kids will then have the opportunity to choose a medium (paper cutouts, found object or silhouette), camera shots and audio clips to add to finish project. You're a future 3D Maker! The AccelerateKID® 3D Maker Camp introduces kids grades 5-8 to the technology of 3D modeling and printing. Campers will get to experience step by step what it is like to build a 3D model; from conceptualization with paper and pencil to solid object in the software AutoDesk 123D Design. Throughout the week, campers will also learn the basics of operating the 3D printer, and Makerbot printing software. At the end of the week students will use the knowledge that they have accumulated during the week to design and build a 3D model to present at the end of the week. AccelerateKID®'s Viral Video Producers is the camp for you! Campers will create a YouTube channel with their video. The goal is to understand how to manage a YouTube channel, create personal videos using introductions and audio, and learn how a YouTube channel can be monetize. You're destined for AccelerateKID®'s Graphic Gurus Camp! In this camp, kids will push their creativity to the limit by designing awesome digital arts using the Befunky photo editing application. The goal is to have students understand good and bad graphic design, use photo editing software to create unique art, and learn how to apply proper coloring and fonts.
