Register your child(ren) here for the upcoming AccelerateKID Hackathon at this year's Maker Faire® Detroit in the Henry Ford Museum on Saturday - July 27th, 9am-6pm. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 16th at 12PM EST. Join us for the 5th Annual AccelerateKID® Maker Faire® Detroit Hackathon at the Henry Ford Museum on Saturday, July 27th at 9AM-5PM an awesome experience. The theme is "Hacking Innovation" and the event will teach 50 children ages 10-14 about computer science using JavaScript programming to produce an innovative app. No computer programming experience is needed. Kids will be in teams to design, develop, debug and demonstrate their final product for awesome prizes. We will provide lunch, t-shirts, goody bags and a free ticket for the kids to explore the Maker Faire® on July 27-28. Our mission is to create future creators in a fun and inspiring environment so that all children have an opportunity to learn coding. Don't just play, let's create!
