DESCRIPTION:**Novi’s AccelerateKid Scholastic Tournament Overview** \n**Presented by Implodians Chess School LLC** \nJoin us for an exciting day of competitive chess at the Novi’s AccelerateKid Scholastic Tournament\, sponsored by The Implodians Chess School LLC. This event is designed to provide young chess enthusiasts with a platform to showcase their skills\, challenge themselves\, and enjoy the spirit of competition. \n**Date and Time:**   \nApril 14th\, starting at 10:00 AM EASTERN \n**Venue:**   \n24404 Catherine Industrial Dr #316\, Novi\, MI 48377 \n**Tournament Format:**   \n– 5 Round Swiss   \n– USCF REGULAR Rated   \n– 3 Sections: Open\, Under 900\, Under 600 \n– Time Control: G/30; d5 (5-second delay) \n**Entry Fee:**   \n$30 per participant. Ensure your spot by registering before the deadline on April 13th at 9:00 PM. \n**Tournament Schedule:**   \n– Rounds begin at 10am\, followed by 11:15am\, 1:00pm\, 2:15pm\, and 3:30pm. \n– Pairings for each round will be created as soon as possible after the previous round ends. \n– The tournament is anticipated to conclude before 5pm. \n**Awards:**   \n– Trophies for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd places in the Open and Under 900 sections. \n– In the Under 600 section\, trophies will be awarded to the top 5 finishers (1st through 5th). \n– A special “Best Notation Award” will be given to the participant with the most legible and accurate score sheet. \n– All awards are based on a minimum of 50 entries. \n**Registration:**  (https://onlineregistration.cc/tournaments/index.php?view=zNTizdLa&tid=m6Glow==) Look up Vendor name “Implodians Chess” \nSecure your participation by registering online at [https://onlineregistration.cc/](https://onlineregistration.cc/).
